We’re both just two people who desperately prayed for each other and that prayer was answered. We’re best friends in recovery together.

Spring of 2023 while we were both attending an amazing place called Celebrate Recovery at Central Wesleyan Church in Holland, Michigan. This dread-locked California hippy heard me singing behind him and said later he fell in love just hearing my voice. We soon became friends and that blossomed into the deep love we share to this day.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Honestly because we’re best friends there might be too many to choose from but hands down has got to be the day we welcomed our daughter Samantha into this world. She was another answered prayer.
What would you do with $20,000?My husbands family lives in Fresno, California where he’s from. This includes his father, mother, sister, and niece. He doesn’t get to go home much and they don’t get to visit. They have only come out once since our daughter Samantha was born and they desperately miss her (and him obviously) and finances are very tight. This money would purchase all of their round trip plane tickets, hotel stay, and allow for a mini family vacation that’s quite overdue!
