Connect How did your love story begin?

I knew his mom through my best friend, who was close with his younger brother. One day, I saw his senior photo on the wall and joked, “I’m going to marry that man someday.” His mom laughed, “Good luck.” At his brother’s wedding, my best friends told him to ask me to dance—and he did. That moment sparked everything. Years later, I still look at him and think, “Wow.” I did marry that man. It all started with a picture, a promise, and a single dance.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s hard to pick a favorite memory after 10 amazing years together—there are so many. But if I had to choose, it would be watching my husband meet a new niece or nephew. The way his face lights up, how gentle and loving he is—it melts my heart every time. In those moments, I see what an incredible dad he’ll be someday, and that thought fills me with so much love and hope for our future.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d first pay off our fertility hospital bills and start a savings fund for our future child. Then, we’d tackle some lingering debts to ease financial stress. Lastly, we’d take a much-needed vacation with our families to relax, reconnect, and celebrate the journey we’ve all been on together.
