True Serendipity! A chance meeting from the one time I turned left when I always went right. We were 20 & 22 years old. Brad, having been stopped lossed, then deployed to Iraq had returned 2 weeks earlier. He was there to discharge from the US Army and I was there to enlist a month & half later. We only had that much time to get to know one another and fall in love. It was just enough to never forget each other.

Asking us to pick a favorite memory together is like asking us to pick a favorite star in the sky! The day we met, the day we decided to elope, when our kids were born, our move to Arkansas... Our favorite has to be the day we never had to say goodbye again and has lead to all we love now. From military careers, to loss in different ways and too much time apart; the moment I waited 13 years for, "the day life finally brought us back together to stay" is our favorite memory!

Honestly, there are so many things we could use the money for; improvements for our home, our work-from-home business but hopefully, a wedding- fingers crossed. We are very much legally married. We eloped in 2017 to save the money & improve our lives at the time. But with a promise, we'd have a real wedding later. I've dreamed of that wedding ceremony and celebration for nearly a decade now. Winning $20,000 would be what we need to finally start planning our dream wedding!
