We met at a factory job, where we were both working. I basically stalked him, but he didn’t know that i existed. I finally got the nerve to ask him out! He obliged, but he made sure to tell me..that he was not interested in a serious relationship. He was a musician, who only cared about his music. I finally convinced him otherwise, and we have been together ever since. If he would have just listened to me sooner…but he had a dream of being a musician. He didn’t have time for me. lol!

We got married at the courthouse. I had been married once before and had the “big” wedding. So we agreed, something short and sweet would be sufficient. Our audience was a bunch of inmates, in orange jumpsuits. The judge made a comment to the inmates, that my “to be” husband was getting a stiffer sentence than all of them. He told them that my “to be” husband was getting a life sentence! Lol! Everyone got a kick out of that. It was not a traditional wedding, but we are far from ordinary couple.

We had a small honeymoon, we were young and broke. So we might take a lavish honeymoon. Or…….we may be responsible, and actually do some home improvements. Regardless, we would have fun doing it together.
