We first met at the acro and juggling meetup shortly after Boogie moved to Pittsburgh. Boogie saw Lex, a cutie trying to partner juggle with others. Boogie asked Lex to juggle, but Lex had already promised to juggle with other people first. Boogie instead started juggling squawking chickens. A person named Gunner approached and asked Boogie to perform a cameo in Gunner's upcoming bird circus called "Feathered Foolige." Lex turned out to be one of the birds, and we got familiar during rehearsals.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In 2022, we decided to take a trip to Hawaii. We were both very excited to go to the active volcano on the Big Island. When we got to the National Park, we went to the lava tubes, which felt like a dark cave. In the dark, Lex asked Boogie to take a video while Lex danced with LED juggling clubs. Then Lex pulled out a small box that held a brass mushroom Lex had made. Lex asked if Boogie wanted to get married. Caught off guard, Boogie said "I think so..." We got married in 2024.
