It was a happy accident. I friend requested "someone you may know" on Facebook who turned out to be the brother of someone I knew...his brother who came to my 16th birthday party almost 30 years earlier. We had our first date a week after that friend request. We learned how many times our paths had crossed over decades. Something divine finally brought us together 10 years ago, and he was worth the wait.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are too many to choose from. My husband is a fan (that is putting it midly) of the New York Mets. Knowing this, for his birthday (the first one we celebrated together) I bought tickets to seats he would never treat himself for opening day. The smile on his face when he saw the tickets, paled in comparison to joy on his face when he realized the cameraman at the game was posting his face on the jumbo screen. I was able to photograph it and he uses it his Facebook profile picture.
What would you do with $20,000?Before I met my husband, I had not traveled. He has taken me on some amazing trips, but there are places we have yet to discover. If we won $20,000, I believe we would plan another wonderful adventure. We look at vacations as recreation or what I like to call "re-creation". We recreate everything wonderful about our love story.
