Dallas, TX, LOVE Field, on a layover with the airline. Suzanne had resolved never to date again. Bob couldn’t resist the cute airline captain and he moved closer. “I hear you’re a captain on the Ultra,” he said. “Yes,” she said. “I’m a retired Delta pilot.” “That’s nice.” She wasn’t interested but he persisted. She had an extensive list of her minimum requirements and soon she found herself checking the list. When it was time for her to go, he asked her for a goodnight kiss. It was all over!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have so many favorite memories. Our first trip to London on Delta, when Bob knew all the flight crew and they kept coming back to see him. Our trip to Italy. Memories of traveling with each of our grandchildren all of whom get a special trip with us when they turn 12. Our three week road trip to Montana. Our trip to Utah to drive our grandson home. It’s hard to pin down a favorite memory when you believe every day should be a wonderful memory and you are living every minute of your best life!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would go back to Europe. We would fly into Paris and stay at our favorite hotel, the Hilton Paris Opera. We would then travel out to Versailles, Lyon, and Dijon. After France, we would go to Belgium for a few days and then to the Netherlands. Finally, we would go to Prague and we would explore the homeland of Bob’s family. We would eat delicious food and get to know people, everywhere we go. It would be an exciting chance to explore the art, history, and culture that we love.
