We worked together at a hospital and also the local ambulance as friends about 35 years ago but we were both married to other people so we just remained friends. We went separate ways and had no contact at all for 20 years. His wife died in 2019 after an illness. We reconnected through a condolence online and the spark came back. We ended up together the next year, engaged and married the following year. We both know we were meant to be together and now spend every day in our happily ever after!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our engagement at Walt Disney World, the Grand Floridian - in our suite! We own it as one of our home resorts in DVC so it was very special getting engaged in our most magical place that we call home.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to go to Italy for our 5th anniversary to see our ancestral home as both of us have roots in Sicily. Getting married later in life means you celebrate the in between seasons as well as the major milestones. We treat each day as a gift!
