On April 25, 2010, at a charity ball called "Wish Upon a Star". Someone stole the seat I was supposed to be in, and I was re-routed to Bob's table. We had a wonderful evening of dancing, Bob was auctioned off for his cooking skills. After that our paths crossed again when we discovered we had a mutual friend, and we wound up taking a canoe trip together to a small island in NJ..our friend ran off into the woods, left us alone, and before we knew it, Bob had me laughing hysterically....

As a child, it was my dream to be a figure skating champion. When I met Bob, he was determined to help me make that dream come true, as an adult. We trained every day, moving to Delaware so I could have the best coaches, and in April 2016, I became United States National Champion, of the Adult Figure Skating Silver Ladies Championships. I won the inaugural event, and I won the Lori M. Fussel Trophy which will forever stand in the figure skating museum and hall of fame. I was on Ice Network..

In 2020 I had stage 3 Lymphoma, during covid, and had to go through 12 rounds of chemo and multiple surgeries...After a few years, my insurance company made adjustments to my bill, leaving me with around $19,000 in out of pocket costs that I am still paying off. We are so grateful to have beaten the cancer, and I have bee cancer free for 4 years now. The doctor does not think it will ever come back, so I would love to be able to pay off that bill and move forward cancer free and debt free!
