On a whim one Saturday, Kate called tattoo shops-most were closed, except Petra Tattoo. Blake answered and 30 minutes later, she walked in and met the blue-eyed, strong-jawed artist who'd soon steal her heart. The attraction was instant. Blake took his time with the tattoo just to keep chatting. After checkout, Kate hesitated, then said yes to a date. She was 2 hours late to date two-but he waited. Through early storms, we've only grown closer. We just can't get enough of each other!

For Blake’s birthday, we took a trip to Savannah, GA—his home for over a decade. Kate got to know the people and places he loves, including Little Tybee. We kayaked there, hauled our boat up the shore to beat the tide, and floated side by side in sun-warmed tide pools. The day was spent dodging hot sand and slimy oyster beds, hunting shells, pretending to drive the shipwrecked boats, and feeling like jolly pirates stranded on an island in the sun.

We have big dreams— moving out of state, starting a refill shop, and building a life we love. The mountains call to Blake, the water calls to Kate, and shorter winters call to us both. Blake will keep tattooing, Kate will manage the store, and together we'll make sustainability more convenient. We love the outdoors and want to help keep our Earth healthy-for us, for others, and for the future!
