Together for 13 years, married for 9. Life has thrown just about every obstacle our way and we continue to emerge stronger.
We would like to thank you for supporting Billie Jean & Heather in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Very cliche, we met in a bar. It almost felt like fate. I was helping my Aunt at a church picnic and my friend from the military called me to come out and help cheer up a mutual friend. My friend also happened to call Billie Jean, whom she hadn’t seen in a long time. Billie decided to come out that night, too. It was love at first sight for me. When Billie tells the story, she likes to say that when she walked into the bar, all I saw was her surrounded by white doves.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory would have to be the day we got married. We did a courthouse wedding, nothing by super fancy or anything, with our closest family and friends, and a nice Italian dinner surround by our loved ones. It is unfortunately, the last event Billie’s mom would attend. She passed away two weeks later from cancer. Later that year, we had a “reception” that was what I would have to say, an amazing celebration of our love. Fireworks, BBQ, fancy attire, friends, and family.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won, we would make some upgrades to our home and put some away towards our nieces college funds. Perhaps, we would be able to have the honeymoon we were never able to have.
