Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at work and became close friends—our lives had quietly mirrored each other for years. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, he took me to every chemo appointment. He was there again when my dad passed in 2012. His presence never wavered. After both our past relationships ended, we became a couple in 2013. Our love wasn’t rushed—it was built on friendship, loyalty, and showing up.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our honeymoon in Key West is a memory we’ll never forget—three beautiful days of sunsets, laughter, and wandering hand-in-hand through town. We followed a fun little map of things to do, had gold facials, and tried all kinds of food. But the best moment? Breakfast on the deck, just the two of us, being served and soaking it all in. Simple, quiet, and full of love.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20K, we’d pay off invoices for blessings we’ve already received. As entrepreneurs, we’ve poured our hearts—and resources—into building a business that helps people heal through the 5 cornerstones of wellness and our powerful boundaries course. This would bring ease, momentum, and help us serve even more souls with clarity and purpose.
