How did your love story begin?

My close friend who lived 2 block away, her mother had asked me to stay with my friend since her mom had to go out of town for about 10 days. After I arrived we were talking and she had said, “ You have to meet this new guy I started dating”. That weekend on Saturday, she, another friend and myself went to his work place so we could meet him. Scott, introduced himself and shook my hand. I knew then. When we three were leaving, I said, “DUMP HIM, I WILL MARRY HIM” And I did.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Not really being a person who enjoys getting gifts, he bought me home one day, a handheld little radio for me to walk with. It was red and it had a string for your wrist so I could just walk and sing and listen to my music. I love that little handheld radio.

What would you do with $20,000?

In 2018 we purchased our first home and I saw this home and I knew it would be my forever place. We have tried to fix it up to the best of our ability and we’ve been wanting to do some repairs. Part of it would also be used for a second honeymoon, which we have never had. Honestly, we were so young and broke. We never had a first. So we would like to go away for the first time overseas. We’ve seen this country. We’ve driven across it twice with our children who are now grown. It’s our time now
