Connect How did your love story begin?

After a comical meet-cute where Bianca was a little too drunk to remember a mutual friend introducing her to Mark, seven years of good friendship followed. Until one day, Mark sent Bianca a message confessing his feelings, which were gently acknowledged. Finally, a year and a half later, Bianca invited Mark to dinner to return affections formally. He hadn't noticed her flirtations in the meantime, so it came as a joyous surprise!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In our first year together we flew to Sardinia for the Pilgrimage of San Francesco, a beautiful local tradition. It was a difficult hike of over 17 miles, across a mountain, overnight and through the rain in the company of hundreds of others. It was a challenge, but facing it together, soaking wet and exhausted, is one of the most beautiful memories we share, proof we can do anything if we do it together. Standing at the old sanctuary at the end of our journey felt like standing atop the world.

What would you do with $20,000?

We find ourselves starting our life together, and would use our winnings to help make a home to begin that life in earnest. One with a yard for our dog, and a beautiful native pollinator garden. We love to dance, play tabletop games, cook new (and occasionally delicious) foods for our friends, and we want to create a place for those we love to join us in all we do. We're builders, artists, and all around silly people embarking on our most exciting adventure yet. Please help us begin our journey!
