Nick opened the Bumble app in the airport heading home— and thank goodness he did, because he was close enough to be matched with me! We talked for a month before we ever met in person, until I flew to Ohio to meet in person for the very first time. Nick came to Florida the following weekend and almost every weekend after for 7 months. He proposed at the same place we had our first date in Florida, and we’re getting married in February 2026!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite shared memory is the first time I flew to Ohio and we finally met in person. When I texted Nick that I had landed, he felt his knees buckle and I had butterflies in my stomach! Nick said he almost passed out in baggage claim, and my butterflies prompted me to text Nick, “Just landed! I’m gonna throw up.” It was surreal to finally meet the person we had spent a month getting to know on such a deep emotional level. The first time we locked eyes it felt like I was finally home.
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 would allow us to have our dream wedding with our entire families present to celebrate with us. We’d love to get married at a place that is special to both of us in possibly the most magical city in the country— Orlando, Florida!
