We met in the 6th grade. I was new to the school and was placed in the same class. We became friends and since we lived in the same neighborhood, often played together after school. We rode the same bus throughout middle school and high school and even played in the band together, but never dated. After high school graduation, we lost touch and didn’t see each other for over 30 years, even though we would be in the same place at the same time. We met up again at our 30 year class reunion.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took an amazing trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands. This trip happened right before our wedding day. It was also a couple of weeks before my husband was scheduled to have quadruple bypass surgery. During this time we reflected on our love and cherished every precious moment in this beautiful place.
What would you do with $20,000?We would travel to see our families in other states and also save for upcoming retirement.
