How did your love story begin?

We matched on Eharmony six years ago. I wasn’t paying so I searched for him on Facebook and bravely messaged him. He was a father of four and their family photo was so sweet! I knew he had something special. We talked all day and met up for coffee that night and discovered we had the same personality type and enneagram. He was the most fun and empathetic person I had met and I knew God put us together! We have grown in our faith together and he has been an amazing dad to my daughter.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We loved dancing in the kitchen when we first met singing to each other. Our kids organized a “dance” for us one night at my husband’s house when we were dating. They had us dress up in a suit and fancy dress and turned down the lights and played our favorite songs all while watching us with enormous grins on their faces.

What would you do with $20,000?

We love Christmas and we have dreamed of starting a Christmas tree farm. We live in Colorado and real estate is quite expensive but we hope to find some land fairly close to Denver and build a little cabin with my husband’s expertise as well as plant our own trees. We hope to have hayrides and hot chocolate and a few farm animals with lots of places for photos. We love bringing joy to others and because we experience so much of it with our kids, we want to offer that to other families.
