Connect How did your love story begin?

Well I was on the town with another guy but he seemed more interested in his friend than me. Cutting my losses, I went to get myself a drink from the bar and saw the love of my life sitting there. He was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I didn’t want to interrupt his fun but he kept making me laugh. I complimented his taste in attire… a camo pearl snap. From there a spark grew into a flame. I found a remarkable man on an unremarkable night. Who knew a bad date could turn into a lifetime.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I took her to a Fleetwood Mac revival concert. It was the first time I noticed her eyes and how beautiful they were and just hearing the music in the background made the whole night better. That was the night we both knew we were in love, even though we didn’t state it. We met a strange couple that night, who we think were a little too friendly, so we said our Irish goodbyes. Escaping swingers and inverted fruits, we laugh now and shutter then at the first moment we fell in love.

What would you do with $20,000?

As we’re planning our engagement and future, we would use the funds to further our dreams. Starting off on good foot in life, would further both our careers. Her dream is to practice medicine in rural communities, and mine is to own an electrical company so I can provide for her and our family one day. With her mind set on medical school and mine setting a foundation for our family, we both look forward to each chapter in life.
