Bridge and I met in high school and I quickly asked her to our freshman year homecoming - I was down bad from the start. Little did I know that there were no romantic intentions from her. I kept shooting my shot throughout school, with several more dances attended together “as friends”, despite our obvious connection. I had mostly resigned to the fact it wouldn’t happen by the time we graduated, but she confessed her feelings and we got together that summer. This July will be 10 years together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Last year we went to Japan together. Besides the beautiful sights, endless sushi, and Japanese whisky, we’ll never forget the wisteria in full bloom at Ashikagi and seeing our favorite band (Osees) at a small club in Tokyo.
What would you do with $20,000?It’s a tough economy. We’ve been wanting to buy a house but haven’t been able to make the numbers work - $20k would go a long way into a down payment that would make home ownership more reasonable for us. And maybe a sushi date off the top…
