We met at a beach bar in 2019—me from Florida and Randy from the Puerto Rico. A spark with a foreigner with a cute accent led to nightly tours around the island: walking the streets of San Juan, star gazing, and endless stories of our lives and experiences. Despite being two broke college students, we started ranking up our travel points. We took a risk and started dating. Loving each other through our phones but treasuring each visit and filling them with new experiences and matching outfits!

We have many things in common, but our strongest connection is our love for the ocean. One day, we took on the project of rebuilding a boat. Shipping it to Puerto Rico from Florida, it took us months to find all the necessary pieces and build them all together to create "Aventura." The culmination of our hard work and trust in our efforts resulted in a weekend trip to an island 2 hours off the coast of PR. Our matching swimsuits, craziness and love of the PR waters led to best weekend ever!

We just became homeowners and are starting an exciting new chapter living together! Our house is a fixer-upper, but little by little, we’re turning it into our dream home. We’ve already begun buying tools and tackling DIY projects—your very own Bob the Builders! Just like the tik toks, sometimes you only have enough to buy the home but you still need to furnish it. $20,000 would help us complete important improvements and furnishings and invest further into our home and future together.
