It started with boredom, a laser, and a GameCube. In 2023, Heather saw a 15-second clip of Adam’s art on YouTube and ordered a light box. That order sparked daily chats, game nights, and a long-distance love story - 807 miles apart. She moved to TN, and their lives fit together like they always had. On her 40th birthday, in front of the Disneyland castle, Adam proposed. From a random video to forever - turns out, the red string was real all along!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Meeting for the first time after 4 months of long-distance was electric. That first hug felt like the thousandth - familiar, cosmic, inevitable. We spent the night laughing, geeking out, and marveling at how real it all suddenly was. Time bent, the universe winked, and everything clicked. It was magic… chaotic, beautiful, perfectly timed magic. Jeff Goldblum would’ve nodded and said, “Ah, yes… life finds a way.”
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use $20,000 to invest in building our forever home - an intentional space filled with creativity, retro nostalgia, and love. Every room would reflect our story. We'd also put it toward our wedding: a celebration not just of a day, but of everything that brought us together. From a random light box order to building a life side by side, we’d use the gift to lay the foundation, literally and figuratively, for forever.
