How did your love story begin?

I would like to think it all started when I agreed to the blind date, but I know it was before then. A moment much bigger than that. A moment that took both of our whole lives to get there…so that when I met his eyes for the first time on the sidewalk outside of Olive Garden, I swear I saw the best stars in Georgia. His touch was gentle, his smile was safe, and his hug felt like home. I nervously looked away every time our eyes met; no one has ever looked at me that way before.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On a random sleepless night, 2 years before ever becoming parents, we decided on the names of our unborn children. We dreamed of having a son first. In 2011, our dream came true when the doctor said it’s a boy…our hearts filled with so much joy, tears ran down our face. In the parking lot at the doctor’s office, Adam picked me up and spun me around in excitement of having a son! We immediately left the doctors and drove straight to baby’r’us to buy stuff for our son.

What would you do with $20,000?

Buy some Dr. Pepper, pour it in a glass full of ice and Cheers to our good fortune! The plannings of a family vacation would follow shortly after celebrating! We would use every dime of the money to spoil ourselves and celebrate the love we share by creating more memories together as a family…in other words…we would get lost and probably end up on some beach, somewhere.
