We lived 3000 miles away at first. I was in the closet but she gave me the courage to come out I moved to be with her.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We started on commenting on each other’s Star Wars posts. We became fast friends and slowly developed feelings for each other. We decided to talk about it given the situation. I was in New York living with my parents in the closet. She was in Arizona. I told her that it wouldn’t be fair to her that I wasn’t brave enough to come out yet and to deal with secrecy while being long distance. But she waited for me until I was ready and now we are together, out, and proud lesbians for 4 years now
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Bailey took me to Disneyland for my first time and proposed to me in front of the Millenium Falcon in Galaxy’s Edge. Star Wars is how we first bonded so it was perfect. It was emotional, strangers were cheering. It was one of the first times I felt like I belonged. She took me somewhere that was magical where love is love and the people around you instead of being hateful, they cheer like they would for any proposal. She gave me freedom and acceptance. She is my heart.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off our debts that come from Arizona’s scorching heat. Many of our utilities have failed due to it and even with insurance, we find ourselves trapped with hefty debts. We would finally buy ourselves a nice house with a yard and be able to adopt children which we couldn’t do in our little cozy condo and financial situation. We would invest wisely but also have the fun that we can. More Disneyland trips would be a definite. And whatever we can spare for charity for others in need.
