I moved out to Salt Lake City during Covid and began working at a brewery as a host. Austin was a bartender and we became friends right away. He was a walking red flag at the time and tried to pursue me for a year and I always declined that idea because I loved our friendship so much I didn’t want to ruin it. We kissed at a bar as joke one night out and we both felt the spark. I tried denying it for months after that and eventually clawed his way into my heart and got married a year later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?All of our traveling ones. We like to go to weird Airbnb’s and see what they’re about. We never escape weird things happening to us. From getting drugged in Mexico to staying in a weird polygamist town in a crappy “glamming” tent.
What would you do with $20,000?We are trying to save for a house and pay off some debt. One of us just finished barber school and I would love to have a bigger space to work in and also begin a family. We work hard, but with the cost of living now, our dream of owning a home seems so far away. We have been living in our one bedroom apartment for 3 years now and are ready to get out and make our dream of having a house into a reality.
