How did your love story begin?

We met in early college; Austin was studying music business and I was studying audio production. We were friends before anything else, but there has always been a magnetic pull between us. We went to each other’s shows often and it didn’t take long for us to fall for each other. In the seven years that we’ve been together music has been a love language for us, and we’ve become tethered to each other’s souls because of it. We get married this month and can’t wait for many more years together :)

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

This last fall, Austin and I embarked on our first tour together. This was a tour for his artist project, Drumming Bird, where I played piano and sang backup for him. We traveled all over the east coast, crashing on old friend’s couches, finding the best thrift spots, and spending hours on end in the car. We got to explore new cities and soak up each other’s presence every day. After several weeks of touring, we still weren’t tired of hanging out by the end!

What would you do with $20,000?

Austin and I are getting married this month on June 28th and have spent the last several years laying the foundation for a beautiful future together. We dream of having a house out on some land away from the city where we can garden, get some animals, have a creative space and one day raise a family. We have been saving up for a down payment on a house, and if we were to win this $20,000 we would have enough to invest into our future home.
