How did your love story begin?

Austin, a Bronx native with a passion for hip-hop, met Denise, a Brooklyn girl with a deep love for 80's funk music, at a NYC law firm where they both worked. Their shared musical interests ignited playful, energetic debates about the future of funk in the age of hip-hop. An intellectual bond bloomed into a sweet romance, built on heartfelt conversations, laughter and an unshakeable respect for one another. They found, not just love, but a beautiful friendship that will last a lifetime.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We had so much love to give and were wondering how we could fulfill the elusive dream of raising a child. During a visit to our sister-in-law's house we had a heartwarming moment that changed everything. This little baby boy was brought into the room crying. Austin said, "Give him to me." Just like that, the little one stopped crying! We would never have guessed this sweet baby would become our foster child. He is now 23 years old. This chance meeting continues to be our most favorite memory.

What would you do with $20,000?

We have been privileged to support our family members with education, career changes and unexpected challenges. We have one relative starting college, and Denise is eyeing retirement. $20,000 would allow us to continue meeting our loved one's needs and fulfill Denise's dream of a European vacation. We are so excited about moving forward with the contest both for our family's benefit and in anticipation of the possibility of being named America's Favorite Couple!
