Connect How did your love story begin?

We met almost seven years ago when I spotted him on the dance floor of my favorite college bar. Before even introducing myself, I walked up and asked, "Do you have a girlfriend?’" he said no, I said great, and the rest was history. Turns out, one bold move and some bad bar lighting can lead to the best story. After our first official date, we were inseparable. Since then, we rescued our pup Poppy, bought our first home in Charleston, and got married!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

By far our favorite memory has to be our wedding day. We got married on February 17, 2024 and it was the most perfect day! But the highlight? Austin getting on stage with our band, grabbing the mic during "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" by Shania Twain, and belting it like he was Shania himself. We still laugh about it to this day, looking back with the most iconic photos and videos that documented that moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

Fun fact: our honeymoon was the only trip we have been able to go on, just the two of us, in the seven years we've been together. We'd be so lucky to use the money to take one last vacation together before we start trying for a family. Quality time is so important to us and being able to get away from everyday life and stress to focus on our marriage before we bring new life into the world would be so meaningful for us. The rest would be saved and invested for the future!
