On my last Thanksgiving-break shift at the spice shop, Audrey walked in just before closing. I slipped my phone number into my pocket, ready to act brave, but she surprised me, handing me hers with a bright smile. One unexpected moment on a “goodbye” night became the first page of our forever story.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory: the night we set alarms for 3 AM, whispered sleepy hellos, slipped into the car while the world was dark, and drove toward the coast. Wrapped in blankets on the sand, we watched dawn spill peach and gold across the water, promising we’d chase every sunrise together.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we’d bring our dream Edenton wedding to life, historic waterfront venue, Carolina oaks overhead, local food trucks and a string-quartet serenade. We’d fly in far-flung family, treat guests to sunset boat rides on the Albemarle, and start our marriage debt-free, investing the rest in a honeymoon fund and a down-payment jar.
