Connect How did your love story begin?

By chance I was transferred into the same zoology class as her, and even sat at the same table. We have had classes together previously, but we never got the chance to talk. After sitting next to each other for a while, I added her on social media, and to my surprise she added me back. We talked both in person and online, until we finally decided to go on our first date (she didn’t know that at the time). The first of many consisted of studying, sandwiches, and strawberry custard.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory we have together, is the time we spent traveling throughout Europe. For 20 days, we were by each other's side, experiencing and exploring new towns. The most notable memory is when we were in Cinque Terre for the day. We spent half of the day on the beach, and the other half walking around trying to find a place to eat, until we found a place that serves incredible Gorgonzola and Ham pizza. She ordered a Lemoncello Spritz, which tasted like the day we had.

What would you do with $20,000?

Without even thinking, I would split it with her. I trust her completely to make responsible decisions because I know she is financially and generally intelligent. I would use my half to help my mother pay for my college that I am going to be attending this fall. Both me and my girlfriend are attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is planning on studying psychology and I am going into journalism, in hopes of someday taking her with me to write about the world, while keeping me sane.
