I was mending a broken heart, traveling 3 months solo through EU during the holidays when I met João in Braga, Portugal who was home for the holidays. We connected quickly as friends and within a week, thinking it would just be a fling, we fell in love. He traveled with me for 2 months through portugal, Spain & France, then flew from Luxembourg to Los Angeles to visit me for a month where we began planning our life together. Everything about our connection has felt destined.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories is a heartfelt, tear inducing conversation we had in Porto at the Praca de Ribeira, near the Dom Luis Bridge only 3 weeks in, about our love and our decision to plan a life together. A life which includes buying a sailboat in Portugal one day and sailing the Mediterranean.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use that money to kick start our life together. We are currently long distance flying across the sea to see each other every 2 months.
