We're Athena and Thor! Everywhere we go it blows everybody's minds when they hear our names. Everybody wants what we have together.
We would like to thank you for supporting Athena and Thor in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We first met on plenty of fish in the spring of 2012, looking for someone outside of our current dating demographic. Athena messaged me first and I didn't think she was real. We lived 4 hours away from each other and talked for months over the phone before meeting. By the time we finally met we both knew this was our person. I stole her away and we moved to whole new area together to start our journey. We got married on 12/12/12 at noon to set the precedent for how special our connection was.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many favorite memories when you're with your favorite person all the time. Our very first night together was memorable, I tried to set a romantic mood by putting a shirt over a lamp, definitely set the mood. About 20 mins later though it caught fire somehow and I had to quickly but not frantically put it out. We still laugh about that night and how we almost burnt a house down our first night together.
What would you do with $20,000?20k is going directly into helping us buy a house with a little bit of acreage to it so we can create our sustainable home we've been dreaming about for quite a few years now. And probably taking a well deserved trip to Costa Rica for vacation:)
