Connect How did your love story begin?

We first felt the sparks in 7th grade. We shared a couple of classes together and quickly became inseparable. We would drive around in our small town, eat lunch together, and spend all night talking on the phone. We knew that we couldn’t be together at the time but nothing could keep us apart. We lived two different lives, I was the “good girl” that was in church every Sunday morning and he was the “bad boy” that had a harder life and did what he needed to in order to get by.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our recent wedding day. We got married on June 7th, 2025. It was the perfect day with all of our loved ones surrounding us. It was full of joy and laughter. We sang songs, ate barbecue, and danced the night away. Afterwards we had a limo take us to The Mayo in Tulsa Oklahoma. It was incredible.

What would you do with $20,000?

The first thing that we would do is donate a portion of it to either our church or a local community charity such as second chances. The second thing we would do is invest some of it towards paying off some of our debt such as our car loan. And the third thing we would do is take a portion of it for ourselves and do something special together like visit a different country or purchase a motorhome for travel which is a dream of ours!
