Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began long before we even realized it—woven quietly into the backdrop of our childhoods. Chris and I grew up knowing each other, part of the same small-town rhythm, our paths crossing here and there but never quite aligning. Life took us in different directions, as it often does, but God was never finished writing our story. Years passed. We both lived, and grew through life’s challenges and blessings. And then, in December 2022 in an ice storm, divine timing intercepted.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

What started as a simple visit just talking, laughing, and catching up, But as the night went on, the snow started falling harder, turning into a full-blown ice storm. By the time we realized how serious it was, the roads were already shut down. Travel was unsafe, everything was frozen over, and suddenly Chris was iced in at my house for three days. By the time the ice started to melt and Chris could finally leave, everything had changed. We both knew we weren’t just going back to normal life.

What would you do with $20,000?

More than anything, winning $20,000 would mean we get to honor our love story the way it deserves to be told—a destination wedding with intention, with meaning, and with the people who’ve supported us along the way. We’ve waited a long time for a love like this, and now that we’ve found it, we’re ready to begin the next chapter—hand in hand, hearts full, and surrounded by love.
