Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on Hinge late 2019, we talked for several months, but never met. Life ended up taking over and we touch with each other then Covid happened. He lost his dad in May, I was single parenting a toddler while working full time remotely. We had stayed friends on instagram and would comment on each others stories from time to time. In late 2021, almost a year and a half later, after resuming a more regular conversation, he asked me if I would like to grab dinner and we have been together since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have been through many challenges, as well as joyful times. Our favorite memory would have to be dancing at our friend’s wedding, surrounded by loved ones , a little drunk, feeling all of the love in the room. Runner up would be changing that damn ceiling fan (pictured in our profile photo), playing with electric wires is scary, but working together to solve a problem is a beautiful thing.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would split the money equally, this is a boring answer, but we each would use the money for practical reasons. I would use it towards a new car as mine is toeing the line between life and death. He would use it to pay off his care credit card that he took on debt with to save his elderly mom’s cat who was diagnosed with a rare cancer last summer. The cat, Mollie, after surgery and chemo, has surpassed all expectations and is living her best life with my partner’s 82 year old mother.
