Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in Ms. O’brien’s 10th grade history class where we exchanged flirty glances and passed notes in class. We knew there was something special about one another, but remained friends for a year until we eventually started dating in May 2023 when we were 17. Ever since then, our love has grown so much and we are so in love. Our love has remained strong through long distance being 2000 miles apart during college, and we hope to get married after we graduate in a few years.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory as a couple is when we went to Disneyland together for our two year anniversary. We exchanged promise rings and promised that we would always love each other and get married someday. We had an amazing time going on rides, talking, laughing, and singing disney songs the whole day. We watched the fireworks light up the sky as we held each other close and poured our hearts out to each other. It was a dream come true.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the $20,000 prize towards our wedding and honeymoon, and to save for our future. It has been a dream of ours to go to Italy together so we would use some of the money to go there for our honeymoon and use some of it to pay for our wedding and the rest would probably go towards saving to have children in the future which is another big dream of ours.
