Al and I met when we were in high school. I was at a festival downtown and he walked up and asked for my number. From there he quickly became my best friend and my safe space. He was the only one who I felt comfortable with sharing some experienced trauma with and he loved me through the healing process. He will credit me with a lot of his emotional development and growth. After 10 years of courting, we were finally married on April 22, 2017 one of the happiest days of our lives.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory as a couple is simple and reoccurring. It’s the mornings where we wake up with no plans and are able to lie in bed and spend 1x1 together laughing and simply sharing our thoughts and dreams. It may seem basic but life gets so busy, I enjoy those quiet times together.
What would you do with $20,000?With 20,000 I would take our dream vacation and invest in something we have always dreamed of doing as a couple; founding an event venue here in our hometown. We had such a great time planning our own wedding, we would love to be a part of others love stories as well.
