We met through an online dating service. I was just about to give up after having nightmare relationships from on-line dating services, and Jeannie was on the dating service on a dare. She had her profile up for one day. I responded with a short note. She replied with a Monty Python quote – and now for something completely different. I knew I found my soulmate.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our second date. Although Jeannie had traveled the world, she never saw New York City. We took the train from Pleasantville – her first train ride – down to the city. It was December and we saw the Rockefeller Christmas tree, Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, "Top of the Rock," a meal in the Rock Ctr., Café and a walking tour of New York City Christmas light displays. Our first kiss on the Saw Mill River Parkway in a traffic jam at the Marble Avenue exit sign [our 1st date].
What would you do with $20,000?We would definitely donate a portion to several charities, including charities for neurofibromatosis (a neurological medical condition I have which tumors grow on nerves). We would love to visit our ancestral hometowns in Italy and Sicily. Perhaps construct a wheelchair ramp for me. We would also take some of that money to produce additional videos – and promote them – of every song I have written on my YouTube channel.
