This "Meet Cute" happened when Orly was a TV News reporter in Merrillville, IN. While conducting Man-on-the-Street interviews, she put her microphone in a stranger's face and asked him how he thought the last episode of Seinfeld would end that night. He made her laugh. They went out the next day. The rest is history. And yes, Ari and Orly's meet-cute is forever recorded on now-digitized VHS.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many, and Orly discusses a lot of those moments on stage as a stand-up comic (what an understanding husband, right?!). I would say the first time we ever traveled as a young couple was an adventure. You learn a lot about your special someone when you are forced to share a small, windowless cruise ship cabin -- like how much time he spends in the bathroom and how much time she spends doing her hair.
What would you do with $20,000?We would start a donation fund and give the money to notable charities that promote peace, love, and community. After all, we are all in this world together... let's spread the love where it counts!
