Connect How did your love story begin?

Anthony and I met on Hinge. We lived in two different counties and while he worked nights-I worked mornings. We probably would not have met otherwise. Anthony got on Hinge as a final attempt at finding love. He said he’d give the app 7 days and I found those sexy dimples in 6! Although I hoped for a meet-cute, my friend suggested I tried Hinge. Funnily enough he swiped left because I had a dog, but I swiped right because he had children. Now we have a son and are getting married in March!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I was totally against a hospital birth and having Anthony by my side was the only factor that made this possible. After 12 hours of back labor, my midwife refused to show up, under the impression that I would not deliver that day. Breathing through a long wait for her arrival with Anthony holding my hand grounded me in the most chaotic moment of my life. Eventually I pushed and he pulled… I’ll never forget the look on his face when he delivered our son.

What would you do with $20,000?

Not only are we bunkering down to pay for our wedding, we plan to have another child immediately after the wedding. We’re getting married on my birthday, and as a last hoorah before motherhood 2.0, we’d like to: eat good, drink well, and travel overseas before putting another bun in the oven. This $20k will go far for the many expenses we homeowners have accrued in solidifying this union, giving us a stress free honeymoon.
