We met in Granbury, TX in 2010 after being cast to perform in a Beatles review. Wes drove from KY. I was the last to arrive, flying all the way from NJ as a last minute replacement. When I got to the compound and was introduced to everyone, we locked eyes and immediately knew. We were joined at the hip that summer. Bonded over music, alcohol, laughs and MOST importantly food. He was the dance captain and I played Paul McCartney. We still listen to Beatles music every night while making dinner.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our dog Bruce found us November 1st, 2023. We were recovering from Halloween when we saw a huge dog at our door. He ran off, came back and we managed to wrangle him in. We already had a 10lb yorkie mix, so a 100lb German Shepherd mix wasn’t on our radar. We searched everywhere for his owner, but no luck. With help from our local shelter, we officially adopted him soon after. Our family felt complete when we found the piece we never knew we needed. 15 years together, still loving surprises.
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve been engaged for 8 years, so we should probably use it to get married and finally have a wedding. But let’s be real, we’ll probably spend all of it on things for our two children, aka the dogs. They take all our money.
