We met at 18 and 19 years old at a religious college. For one it was love at first sight. For the other, love took its sweet time to bloom! To love each other from the start was to rebel against the norm, many odds, and defy expectations. We met as two young women so to speak, heading into ministry. Hello were our first words and we’ve since exchanged many more words, glances, and adventures!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?New Year’s Eve 2021- My (Annette) mom just passed in November. She lived with us and her passing left all 3 of us (kiddo too) devastated. Adam and I decided to blow up a bunch of balloons, use plastic picnic table covers, and tape them to the ceiling. When midnight hit we pulled the plastic and the balloons fell as one big surprise for our kiddo. We laughed and wept our way into the new year.
What would you do with $20,000?Take more adventures of course! Okay maybe one small adventure. We would take care of our kiddo who has multiple incurable illnesses and spoil them with something that shows them life IS worth living. Maybe a trip, maybe medical devices or experiences that make their life fuller happier, and perhaps easier. But adventure on we must!
