Connect How did your love story begin?

I remember like it was yesterday! I was working at Moody Gardens Rest. as a Manager & he walked in to eat lunch. My hostess Caroline walked over to his table & said “ My Manager think your fine!” We talked in the lobby for 2 hours like we had known each other our entire life. Like something out of a movie on our 2nd date, I told Jack “ I think I’m falling in love with you!” As he was walking back to his plane, he said “ Ann, I think I’m falling in that direction too.”

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We were in West Texas rock climbing & there was a ledge that we were standing on to take a little break. I remember it started to rain & this beautiful rainbow appeared out of nowhere! Jack scooped me in his arms & gave me the most passionate kiss in the world! This was over 20 years ago, altho I don’t have a pic of it, it’s a memory in my mind I will never forget.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were blessed to win this competition, we would donate 10k to our 501c3, Rainbow of Hope Texas where we serve the special needs community, Veterans & individuals in recovery from drug & alcohol through the healing power of horses, life & social skills. We have not been on a vacation in 13 years since starting ROHT, my husband now battles Parkinson’s disease so I would love to take him on Alaskan Cruise while he can still function & make a lasting memory for both of us.
