Mike and I met when we were 5 & 6 and ran in the same circles our whole lives-growing up in a small town. When I became a news reporter, Mike, an assistant chief at his fire company helped me several times with stories. (Still just friends) But something changed in summer of ‘21 when he asked me to teach him about wine in the finger lakes! Now we’ve grown our love and our wine collection.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I’d say all of our travels! Before I was really in Mike’s life, he’d never ventured farther than Harrisburg where he lived for a year (we live in NEPA). I on the other hand had already been to 9 countries. Mike knowing my love for travel created the idea we’d go to every NASCAR l track. I’d choose what we do Saturday and we’d do the race on Sunday. Though I don’t like NASCAR it was a perfect compromise and has allowed us to see so many new cities and states together-making endless memories!
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 would be life changing for us. As a recently engaged couple, we’d be able to really begin to create the life we want for ourselves. We have hopes to build a home some day, maybe help pay for our honeymoon, and even some of the minor debts we have to help us reach financial freedom.
