Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at a bar on Angi’s 31st Birthday where David met more than half my family on the night we met. He asked me to dance, I gave him my number and he called me the next day. And he hasn’t left my side since. I have been in a wheelchair since the age of 17 due to a drunk driver and David has been taking care of me and December 1, 2025 will be 25 yrs. I never imagined that a guy would want to be with a woman with scars or be disabled. But David proved me wrong and I’m so glad he did!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When I (Angi) Won tickets from B100 a radio station here in Mishawaka, Indiana and when we arrived at the event the announcer said that if anyone would like to ride a real live bull and pay $40 and sign a waiver they would be given the opportunity to get on the back of a real live bull to see if they could last the whole 8 seconds. David got bucked off in 2.5 seconds. David said he was satisfied that he survived and he rode a real live bull. He said now I can cross that off my bucketlist.

What would you do with $20,000?

Take a very well deserved vacation, get some bills paid and donate some to our favorite charity St.Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. And spend some on my long lost Sister that I didn’t know I had and just found out that we had the same Dad. We found each other over 50 years later at my Brother’s funeral of all places. And now my life is complete!
