Connect How did your love story begin?

We matched on Bumble! After years of swiping on dating apps, one day I saw that he “super liked” me in the app, which means we were guaranteed to match and I loved that he put himself out there like that and made it less awkward for me to come up with something clever to say (because it’s always such a weird thing to come up with something to say to a stranger you find attractive, and with Bumble the girl had to reach out first)! Plus he is a little older than me, which made me hopeful overall!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory has to now be our wedding day! We just got married recently in April of this year in Mexico to honor my heritage (he is Assyrian and I am Mexican). It was such a special, intimate group of people that came together to celebrate our love story and it was beautiful. Weddings are stressful, especially one in another country but leading up to the day, we planned everything together and it made our bond even stronger. We will always look back on this time as truly the best.

What would you do with $20,000?

Start building our life together! Now that we are married we want to start building our home for our future (hopefully) growing family. A house is the dream, and would love to put this money towards a down payment for a house somewhere nearby to where we rent now so we can continue being close to family and friends. Since family is big for us, we know that anywhere we live will become a home to us and we just want to start building our life together now for our future children.
