Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at 19 at an EDM concert in San Diego—me wingwomanning for a friend ... who turned out to be Andrew’s cousin. Andrew and I started dancing, but I’d left my phone in LA and never got his name. Weeks later, I found his cousin on Tinder, and through some digital sleuthing, I found Andrew. For a year we kept running into each other—never at the right time. Then, a year later, we matched on Tinder. Now, ten years later, here we are. ❤️

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

A few years ago, we took our first international trip together for Andrew’s cousin’s wedding—and turned it into an epic European adventure. We fell in love with Bird scooters, zipping through Paris and Rome, eating at locally recommend spots, and shouting “AU REVOIR SHOSHANNA!” at every landmark (fresh off watching Inglorious Bastards). Scootering past the Eiffel Tower and Colosseum, we laughed nonstop—our own quirky way of seeing the world (and still continue to do in our own city!).

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d take a big step toward our next chapter: buying a home and starting a family. We currently manage an apartment complex to save, but life (and unexpected expenses) can slow things down. This would be the boost we need to move closer to our dreams—of a cozy home, a yard for our kids and to invite our families to, and the stability we’ve been working so hard for. It’s more than money—it’s momentum toward the life we’re building together.
