We were friends in high school and reconnected 13 years later, knowing we were soulmates.
We would like to thank you for supporting Andrew and Michele in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
My first husband and I were separated and Andrew was in town for a week before moving north. He messaged me to meet up and reconnect since we hadn't seen each other from high school. As soon as we saw each other, there was a crazy strong connection. We saw each other every day for the next 4 days. In that time, he received a job offer locally and decided it was time to come home, so he stayed. We've been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The birth of our daughter is something we'll never forget. She came prematurely and I was in the hospital for a week with her being in NICU for three weeks. We supported each other the whole time and I wouldn't have had it any other way. It was a beautiful experience and brought us closer together than ever.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay for our small wedding, put some towards a house, and the rest would go into college savings for our kids. We'd probably also pay our car off as making ends meet is pretty hard and it's taking the VA quite a while to process his monthly payments.
