You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Our love story began on May 23, 1975 in Brooklyn, NY. A mutual friend of ours had introduced us. We were both born and raised in Brooklyn. We went to all the same schools, but had never met one another. When we met I was attending Brooklyn College and Marty was graduating Lafayette High School. When we met the sparks flew! 50 years later and we're still happily married and the sparks still fly.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our first date in 1975 is my favorite memory. Marty had taken me to Coney Island knowing that I love amusement parks, especially roller coasters. We went on the Cyclone, which is one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the United States. When the ride was over, I turned to Marty asking if we could go on again. His face was green and his knuckles were white from holding on so tight. He told me how much he hated roller coasters but went on for me. That's when I knew this was the guy for me.
What would you do with $20,000?We would happily give a portion of the money to the Humane Society and another portion to take a much needed romantic getaway to make more lasting memories.
