A dating app! The new age way of meeting folks especially in new places. Jeff had just moved to Chicago in June 2016 and was using apps as a way of meeting people. Luckily, despite my typo ridden pick up line, Anajah agreed to keep chatting and eventually we met up for drinks. Lucky me! I remember that first date, at a winery called Townhouse, like it was yesterday. We talked, laughed, and even ended up keeping the party rolling for dinner! We closed the place down chatting!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Jeff’s surprise proposal in Jamaica. What was supposed to be a date on the water became a magical emotion filled proposal. He then got down on one knee and my mind went blank. Jeff got me… he got me good. I was completely in shock and overwhelmed with emotion. I felt like I was the lead character from every romantic comedy I had watched growing up. Apparently I did say yes ( “yes, yes, yes!” to be exact).
What would you do with $20,000?As we launch our lives as a married couple, new home owners with two fur babies, we are hoping to use these resources to grow our family and share all the love we have for each other with children!
