Fate brought us back together, married 9 years. He helped me battle addiction (been clean 8 years) Our love runs deep ❤️
We would like to thank you for supporting Amanda & Jason Matter in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We dated back in college (1999) and broke up for whatever reason and we went separate ways. In 2015 Jason sent a FB message to me saying "Happy Birthday one day late" and that's when we started talking for the first time in decades. He had no idea I had just moved into an apartment after leaving my boys dad & getting divorced. He was also going through a divorce. We met up a couple weeks later and picked up right where we left off. He proposed in March that next year, we were married on October
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Would have to be the story of our Harley motorcycle. My dad passed away in 2014 and years later we were able to track down the person who bought my dad's Harley after he traded it in. We were able to purchase that bike and we made a trip from Michigan to NC with my dad's ashes to spread them at a place my dad had once visited on the same bike. More to it but that was just the cliff notes! We rode a total of 26 hours together on that bike trip, made amazing memories too!
What would you do with $20,000?Put a down payment on some land in Kentucky where we plan to retire. Jason has about 8 years left with the Michigan state police. Our youngest son will graduate in 2027 and we hope to built a home a retire in where all the family can come and visit ❤️
